Greetings, and thank you in advance for your time and consideration of the following opportunity. Throughout May and the beginning of June, I will be a part of a series of teams which will be deployed in two week segments to do humanitarian aide missions in Kenya and Tanzania in Africa. For the last six months we have been training physically, emotionally and mentally for these trips. Training has been focused to fit the specific challenges that the teams will face on these trips. This includes the confrontation of personal fears, mental barriers and emotional insecurities that hinder people from peak performance under high levels of stress. Along with this, we have been trained in basic first aid, CPR, land navigation and wilderness survival.
Our team will be deploying in partnership with Zao Water, a humanitarian aide, non-profit organization which provides clean drinking water to many African nations through the drilling wells and springs, while meeting other needs connected to clean water and sanitization. We will be digging wells as well as providing sanitization training and many other services that the communities desperately need. But before we can positively affect the communities we must get to Kenya. This is where you come in.
Though our team has been raising money to reduce the cost of this trip, we still have much more to raise. The price of the mission, not including personal equipment costs, is just over $3,000 per person or around $50,000 for the whole group. The majority of this is due on April 15th due to the nature of the visa process. The actual deployment will be just weeks later in May. This money will provide for air fare, visas, shots, immunizations and other essentials for the trip; no extra, frivolous expenditures.
If you are interested in helping me, donations can be made through my PayPal account (click here). I greatly appreciate any and all support that you would like to give. And thank you to those who have already donated connected to the marathon run, these funds have helped the process of getting me this far, but the end total is much higher than originally understood.
If you would like to find out more about ZAO, you may visit their website at www.zaowater.com and also may view their promotional video and a testimony of a transformed town.
Thank you again for you time and consideration of this opportunity. If you have questions or concerns, please email me at msm.sf.support@gmail.com or princevince13@gmail.com and I will respond as quickly as possible. Your support is a valuable piece in this mission.
Sincerely,
